- Expansion of high-speed optical communication network in urban areas to create a communication infrastructure that provides smart city services such as IoT, public WiFi, S-DoT, and S-Pole
- Installation of 11,030 public WiFis by 2023 and 783 km expansion of independent communication networks in urban areas
1-2. Strengthening citizen safety through installation and expanded connection of Smart Seoul CCTVs
- Expansion of crime prevention CCTVs, optimized installation of intelligent CCTVs (169 locations) and enhancing monitoring efficiency through establishing a selective control system
- Strengthening citizen safety net services through integration and connection between city and district CCTV control centers
- Expansion of CCTV control connection: 15 districts in 2021 → 25 districts in 2024
1-3. Expansion of integrated smart service platforms(S-Pole)
- Establishment and revision of a city-wide S-Pole standard model and guidelines for establishment and operation
- Provision of a customized standard model considering various road conditions to provide a foundation for smart service expansion
